WaterWheel Play TableSeeing the water falling from this Waterwheel Play Table suggests creative exploration with cause and effect learning. This imaginative play center encourages hours of outdoor learning and fun. Pour water into the wide funnel and activate the water wheel which then spills into the inner and outer harbors. Two molded-in sections function as canals, boats, lakes, harbors and more. An elevated design keeps water at toddler level and also keeps ground dirt clear of water and mud from forming on children’s feet. Up to three kids at a time can play which promotes group play.  Two built-in drain plugs allow for easy water removal. The four piece accessory set includes- 1 cup, 2 sailboats, and one water wheel tower. Features decorative molded-in fish designs on legs. It can holds up to 4 gallons of water.

We have had the water play table for almost six months, and its play value has not decreased at all. It is short enough that our 16 month old has always been able to participate comfortably, and interesting enough that my 4 and 6 year old are still interested in playing with it too.

The water wheel is a lot of fun, and the children love scooping water into its reserve to make it spin. The two levels of the table give the children individual play space if two children are playing. In the winter time, I replace the water with sand so they can continue to play with it. I really like the easy-to-open plugs built into the bottom so it’s easy to remove water or sand. The toy, though sturdy, is light enough for an adult to pick up and simply pour the water out. Children cannot, however, easily move or turn the table over.
